TPB #8 – Measuring Flash Trigger Voltages

This episode explains that different flashes have different trigger voltages. Sometimes flashes have a high trigger voltage that can damage your camera or the Camera Axe. Then I explain how to easily measure your flash voltage with a voltage meter. If you do accidentally plug a high voltage flash into the Camera Axe then repairing it is very easy by just plugging in a new LTV-847 optoisolator chip.
