In this video I show what water droplets do under the surface when they splash into the liquid reservoir by using a clear glass reservoir. I show what happens with one drop and then two drops. This explains a lot about what’s happening and why two drops are required for those really tall water spouts.

TPB #71 – Water Droplet Photography Additives

In this video go over some additives you can put in water to make it more photogenic and then show the setup I use with water droplet photography. The main additives used in this video are xanthan gum (1 teaspoon per 2 cups of water) and various household detergents.

In this video I go over how to use the Ojecoco H430 Wireless Transmitter and Receiver to wirelessly trigger a camera or flash from the Camera Axe. If you set it up correctly it will have about 400 microseconds when there is less than 5 seconds from the previous trigger.
