The airgap flash works well up close, but it would be nice if the light was more focused so it could be placed further from the target. Here I use laser cut acrylic pieces to build a reflector for the airgap flash and then test its performance.

TPB #75 – Airgap Flash Reflector Improvements

In this video I discuss a bunch of improvements I made to the airgap flash reflector and diffuser. The biggest improvements are using white acrylic for the reflector, reflector design improvements to better hold the flash tube, and some interesting findings from using a Fresnel lens.
